After contacting Google according to the prompt, Google play replied to us with an email. Let’s verify the developer account details.
As shown in the picture above, the relevant instructions given by Google. If your application involves the Brazilian market, or you are an account in Brazil, you must accept this Brazilian verification policy, which is a requirement of the local government for Google.
Even if your account is registered in mainland China or Hong Kong, China, once the application involves Brazil, it will trigger Google’s Brazil verification, and the suspension of payment will not be lifted until the verification is completed.
Usually, personal accounts only need to verify the ID card + address proof (water and electricity bill, bank statement) of the country where the account is registered (attribution);
If you are an enterprise account, not only the basic identity and address information must be verified, but also the identity information and address information of shareholders and executives must be verified.
If the above problem occurs, if you are a real developer account officially registered in mainland China, then the problem is not serious. Usually, few of us use accounts in mainland China, and most of us use developer accounts in Hong Kong and the United States. At this time, if you randomly fill in the information of an American company, you can basically give up the account, unless the account balance is large.
If the account in Hong Kong needs to be verified by Brazil, is it useful to submit the ID information of mainland China? (As shown below)
We tried to submit the certificate information from mainland China to the Google system for verification, but the result was not accepted. At this time, we must choose to submit the relevant information of the account attribution (Hong Kong), and it must be true and complete in order to pass the review of Google developers.
Since we submitted an identity information from China, when we changed to Hong Kong information and submitted it for verification, it still failed; (as shown below)
Google’s system will compare whether the information we submitted earlier is consistent with the information submitted later. If the difference is large (name, identity, etc.), it will ask us to explain why the account is associated with multiple identities.
At this time, we need to communicate with Google again. After the communication, Google sent another email to verify the address of the new identity in Hong Kong, which means that the Hong Kong information we submitted earlier has been approved. (As shown below)
This is the last step. When we provide real Hong Kong utility bills (water and electricity bills), credit cards, bank card statements, and other ID documents containing residential addresses (must be issued by the local government), we all know that Hong Kong has three Identity documents can prove identity, such as Hong Kong passport, permanent resident ID card, and driver’s license. Unfortunately, the above three types of documents do not have address information registered, so only water and electricity bills and bank statements can be used to verify the address.
Finally, as long as we submit the above information as required, the Brazilian verification can be completely resolved, and the suspension of payment will also be lifted.
If you are an individual developer or a small team, the editor recommends using the China account, so that even if you encounter such a troublesome problem of verification in Brazil, you don’t have to be helpless.
